Ms. Cu was born and raised in East Los Angeles. Ms. Cu found her love and passion working with kids through Equitas Academy, where she began her career as an After School Program leader in 2011. Ms. Cu loves the scholars, families, and community that she has been working with for the past 11 years. Working with the Pico-Union community has inspired her to also teach and soon have a class of her own. She attended East Los Angeles Community College where she majored and received her associates degree in Child Development. Ms. Cu will be attending Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, this upcoming spring where she will receive her degree in Liberal Arts in order to follow her dreams in becoming an Elementary school teacher. She now serves the Pico-Union community by working here at Equitas Academy as an Instructional Aide and Coach. She is enthusiastic about the scholars she works with every single day and is constantly inspired and motivated to assist in assuring all scholars attend and graduate from college.
