Ms. Herrera is thrilled to continue her teaching journey at Equitas Academy. She is proud of the community students and teachers have built within and outside the school. She is excited to help our scholars grow and learn along with her. Ms. Herrera started her teaching journey at a young age. She began tutoring students throughout high school and loved learning new things along the way. She received her Bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach. She continued her education through Grand Canyon University for her Master's degree in Special Education. After graduating with her Master's, she will continue to educate her students and provide the necessary tools to be successful in their journey.
