Mrs. Green is so excited to return to the Equitas family this year! Growing up, she attended the same elementary school where her mother taught kindergarten and she spent a lot of time after-school helping in the classroom. This is where her passion for teaching first sprouted. She graduated from college at San Francisco State University and was living in the Bay Area for the last decade before moving to Los Angeles last year. During school, she enrolled in a teaching program specifically designed for college students to become great teachers and received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Earth and Space Science. Mrs. Green is going into her 6th year of teaching kindergarten and can’t wait to meet the newest group of Equitas college-bound scholars! She was drawn to the Equitas schools because of the values and high academic standards for all students. She is dedicated to fostering a classroom environment where all students are comfortable, happy and ready to grow as a community of learners. In her spare time, she likes to cook, draw, collect children’s books, spend time with her nephew, swim and go to the movies.
