Bio

Los Angeles is the place I am ecstatic about and call home. I grew up here and have lived here for the majority of my life. I attended LAUSD schools and received my high school diploma from Downtown Magnets HighSchool in 2010. I later went to attend community colleges and transferred to CSULA, which is where I graduated with a major in Sociology with a Minor in Gerontology in 2015.

Once I began working with children and schools I knew it was something I was very passionate about. My work has focused on working with TK and Kindergarten, but I have been fortunate to work with all age groups. Working with children has proved to have challenging days, but very rewarding ones as well. I am delighted in seeing their curious minds grow.

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking and eating. Trying dishes from different cultures and backgrounds allows me to learn about them and appreciate our differences. I also love to explore new places which is why traveling more often is on my bucket list. Being a member of the Equitas family has been a thrilling experience. It is full of exciting memories watching the scholar's learn and build relationships. They have the best stories to tell asl well and I am eager to see what the future may bring.
